  • A Text Mining Research Based On Lda Topic Modelling

    A Large number of digital text information is generated every day. Effectively searching, managing and exploring the text data has become a main task. In this paper, we first represent an introduction to text mining and a probabilistic topic model Latent Dirichlet allocation. Then two experiments are proposed - Wikipedia articles and users' tweets topic modelling. The former one builds up a document topic model, aiming to a topic perspective solution on searching, exploring and recommending articles. The latter one sets up a user topic model, providing a full research and analysis over Twitter users' interest. The experiment process including data collecting, data pre-processing and model training is fully documented and commented. Further more, the conclusion and application of this paper could be a useful computation tool for social and business research.
  • Projection Profile Based Number Plate Localization And Recognition

    This paper proposes algorithms to localize vehicle number plates from natural background images, to segment the characters from the localized number plates and to recognize the segmented characters. The reported system is tested on a dataset of 560 sample images captured with different background under various illuminations. The performance accuracy of the proposed system has been calculated at each stage, which is 97.1%, 95.4% and 95.72% for localisation & extraction, character segmentation and character recognition respectively. The proposed method is also capable of localising and recognising multiple number plates in images.
  • Semantic Correlation Between Rdf Entities

    Web of data has introduced for creating machine readable web that semantic links between entities is main feature of it. To create such links as well and also use of existing knowledge in this links, need to process the semantic communication between entities. Identification of such links, allowing agents and crawlers to crawl the web to extract data effectively of required attribute. In many cases, the accuracy of data and performance of agents is dependent much to understand the semantic connection of resources. In this paper an approach is presented to determine the measure of semantic link between entities in web of data using the calculation of correlation entities. Furthermore, the effect of calculation of the semantic correlation in applications such as named entity disambiguation in natural language has also been studied. In this application respect to common integration in natural language statements, semantic correlation of referent entities are important in the text.
  • Colorimetric Matching For Medical Cameras

    While medical equipment and IT technology advances, doctors make medical surgery using input images through cameras. They use an optical microscope or an endoscope equipped with cameras. These systems display expanded images on a monitor for the required surgical sites. It is important to display almost the same color as the actual view, in case of making surgery or observing it. If monitors display wrong color, doctors cannot accurately recognize the surgical site and have difficulty to make a surgery, and surgery observers cannot get accurate information of the surgical site. In this paper, we proposed the characterization method for medical cameras using with the ColorChecker that is commonly used to calibrate cameras and additional color values on actual surgical site. It makes the estimated coefficient through polynomial regression. It can show surgical scenes to users more precisely.
  • Software Architecture Design And Implementation For The Electric Park Brake System Based On Tools.

    An Electric Parking Brake system is operated by the electronic controller. It has being replaced a conventional parking brake system, which is a mechanical device to be driven by a parking brake lever or foot pedal. The EPB system is more convenient for the elderly and women. The interior as well as space utilization has also been important recently. By using the EPB system, it is possible to ensure more space in a vehicle. Also, EPB system provides better convenience and safety than the traditional system through the cooperative control of ESP or alone. In this paper, we propose methodology of software architecture design and function development for the EPB system based on tools.
